Grade 3 to 6

After successfully completing the program, Grade 3 to 6 completers will acquire the following outcomes/intended learning outcomes which are divided into different skills; These are:

A. KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS, AND VALUES

      1. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
        • Ability to demonstrate communicative skills for self-expression through language using the mother-tongue or the student’s first language.
        • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills in listening and communicating about familiar topics, uses basic vocabulary, reads and writes independently in meaningful contexts, appreciates his/her culture.
      2. CRITICAL THINKING
        • Ability to use appropriate technology – in critical thinking, problem solving, reasoning, communicating, making connections, representations, and decisions in real life.
      3. VALUES
        • Ability to show positive attitudes, self-concepts, respect, concern for self and others, behave appropriately in various situations and places, manifest love of God, country, and fellowmen.

B. APPLICATION SKILLS

      1. Ability to demonstrate scientific literacy in making judgments and decisions.

C. DEGREE OF INDEPENDENCE SKILLS

      1. Ability to transfer the learning in real-life situations.
      2. Ability to promote good health habits and awareness about the importance of safety and the prevention of danger at home, in school, and in public places.
      3. Ability to demonstrate involvement in different cultural activities to show own cultural identity and expand vision of the world.
      4. Ability to participate lifelong fitness, health and wellness by selecting activities appropriate at various stages of life.
