OEd’s Technical Vocational Livelihood (TVL) track under the K-12 curriculum offers practical SHS strands that equip students for work right after graduation. The Information Communication and Technology or ICT strand one of these options, focusing on concepts and skills in information technology.
After graduating from senior high school in ICT strand, students are capable of qualifying for TESDA-backed certifications such as the Certificate of Competency (COC) and National Certifications (NC). With an ICT diploma and these qualifications, graduates will have no problem applying for jobs straight out of senior high school.

The ICT strand in senior high school focuses on equipping students with the necessary technical skills to tackle the IT industry straight out of high school. Graduates are expected to be able to do the following after receiving their education:

TVL stands for Technical-Vocational-Livelihood track. Through the TVL senior high school track, students can gain the skills and knowledge they need to seek for employment straight after senior high school whether that’s in the Philippines or overseas.
Currently, OEd SHS offers only the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) strand with specializations in Computer Programming for our Technical-Vocational-Livelihood track.
It’s important to remember that there is no right or wrong strand or track. When it comes to choosing a strand, students just have to choose one that they are genuinely interested in or would like to pursue in the future, as the strand they choose will provide them with the knowledge and skills they’ll need in college or future employment.
Under this TVL strand, graduates can get jobs as call center agents, web designers, data encoders, radio technicians, graphic designers, or junior programmers. They can also go into sales such and apply as online sales agents or IT salesclerks.
The senior high school TVL track is ideal for students who wish to go straight to work right after senior high school. It is designed to meet the needs of those who need to make a livelihood right after high school and opt not to go into college. The different TVL strand courses equip graduates with the skills to apply for jobs both locally and abroad.
No, you do not need to answer an entrance test to apply to OEd Senior High School. Senior high school applicants only need to fill out the application form online and submit their requirements via email. Once we have received all your requirements, we will evaluate your application before informing you of our decision. Please take note that this may take anywhere between 24 to 48 hours.
New K11 students are expected to submit the following:
- Successful Online Registration;
- Form 138/ Grade 10 Card;
- Certificate of Completion;
- Certificate of Good Moral;
- NSO Certified Birth Certificate;
- Form 137 or the Transcript of Records (School-to-School Transaction)
